CaesarStone
CaesarStone is 93% crushed quartz, one of nature's hardest minerals. The quartz is combined with high-quality polymer resins and pigments and then compacted under intense vibration, vacuum, and pressure into dense, non-porous slabs. The slabs are post cured, gauged to precise thickness, and polished to an enduring shine.
Quartz is one of nature's hardest materials. By curing the CaesarStone, it assumes true stone properties but with greater performance and higher resistance to stains and impacts than stone countertops such as granite.
CaesarStone comes in two finishes, polished and honed. There are numerous different colors and edges that can be used in residential, commercial and institutional applications. Its non-porous nature reduces the potential for bacterial growth and classifies it as kosher.
CaesarStone is the first quartz surface in the world to carry the ISO 14001 environmental standard. This standard was created to "show companies dedicated to minimizing harmful effects on the environment and to achieving continual improvement of their environmental performance." In the manufacturing process the CaesarStone product becomes totally inert, preventing the spread of toxins.
