NovuStone
NovuStone™ comes in a variety of colors and patterns depending upon the recycled glass and various pigments utilized. NovuStone uses a proprietary blend of minerals as their base material and can utilize the brightest, most vibrant pigments available and allow the consumer the widest choices possible in color selection without fear of fading even when used for exterior applications. The manufacturing process does not require steam or pressure curing, both energy-intensive techniques. Moreover, 77% of the product comes from within a 50-mile radius of their Seattle manufacturing facility. This greatly reduces the carbon output associated with shipping raw materials. Slabs are also poured to size, further reducing energy expenditure by not producing excess material.
