Similar to Brazilian Cherry, but with a warm brown color with fewer reddish tones. Cumaru (KOO-mah-roo) - sometimes known as Brazilian Teak - is one of the hardest wood species on the planet. Limited quantities available
Hard and stable, this is one of the most beautiful woods on the planet. Gorgeous medium brown background with exotic grain patterns, set off by subtle streaks that hint at every color of the rainbow.
Known in South America as Jatoba, Brazilian Cherry's popularity as a flooring material is well-deserved. Open-grained like Oak, but more than twice as hard, this wood features dark brown or black streaks contrasting with a background that ranges from dark orange to reddish brown. The prefinished engineered version can be nailed to plywood, glued to concrete subfloors, or floated. Limited quantities available.  Dark, elegant, and as hard as any wood floor gets.
