Glass recycling not only conserves the environment, but it also saves energy. All that is required to make glass is a little sand, soda and lime, but most importantly, a lot of heat. The amount of energy needed to melt recycled glass is considerably less than that which is needed to melt virgin raw materials. Some items may contain beauty marks such as small bubbles that make each piece have its own personality.
